where it all began
From my first camera to the stories I get to capture today.
Let me tell you a little more about how my love for photography began! When I was 12, my parents bought me a little DSLR camera, and I was thrilled. My love for photography grew slowly from there. In 2022, they helped me buy my first mirrorless camera, and I was beyond excited. It went with me everywhere!
Over the years, I’ve kept learning, trying new things, and upgrading my gear so I can serve my clients well.
I’m a Katelyn James Photography student, and I’ve invested time and resources into growing my skills and refining my approach. When you trust me with your photos, I want you to feel comfortable, confident, and free to enjoy the moment while I capture it.
I love capturing both the simple beauty of everyday life and the moments you’ll remember forever.

01. How do we book you for the wedding?
Start by getting in touch!
We’ll talk through your wedding plans, the packages I offer, and which option best fits your needs and budget. About four weeks before your wedding, I’ll send you a questionnaire to gather the details that matter most to you. That way, I can come prepared to capture the moments you don’t want to miss.
My goal is for you to feel confident and cared for every step of the way!
02. Do you travel for weddings, including destination weddings?
Yes! I travel throughout the United States for weddings and would love to capture yours. My wedding package pricing is the same as it is for local weddings, with travel fees added based on your location. Contact me with your wedding date and location, and I’d be happy to provide a quote.
Destination weddings follow the same package pricing as local weddings. Additional travel costs, such as transportation and lodging, may apply. I’ll discuss those with you before you book so you know the full price upfront.
03. How do you handle family photos on the wedding day?
Family formals can feel hectic. My goal is to keep them organized and enjoyable for you and your family. Four weeks before your wedding, I’ll send you a questionnaire with a list of family groupings. You can check the ones you’d like and add any that aren’t listed.
Family photos are typically taken in the morning before the ceremony, but I’d be happy to talk through the timing with you and find what works best for your day.
04. Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes! I would love to photograph this special season of your life. Engagement sessions can be added to my base wedding package for an additional fee. You’ll receive your edited photos in an online gallery within 1–3 weeks of your session, ready to enjoy and treasure for years to come.
